About CCRN

The Canadian Cardiovascular Research Network (CCRN) is a not-for-profit academic research organization that aims to foster basic, translational, clinical and population level research efforts, and generate new knowledge to improve cardiovascular care in Canada. An additional mandate is to develop state-of-the-art knowledge integration platforms that feature multidisciplinary and inter-specialty collaboration focusing on the future of health care delivery, research and academia-industry interface.

CCRN is actively involved in basic studies evaluating the role of adipokines in atherosclerosis, translational studies in cardiometabolic risk, clinical trials in atherothrombosis, and population based studies in minority groups.
