This engaging program will highlight practical strategies for primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease. Leading experts will challenge one another with complex, real-world cases, sparking in-depth discussion on guideline-based care, key biomarkers, and emerging approaches to cardiovascular risk reduction.
Learning Objectives
Following participation in this program, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate and apply Canadian guidelines for the primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease
- Assess the impact of elevated triglycerides and Lp(a) on cardiovascular risk and apply evidence-based strategies for risk reduction in primary and secondary prevention.
- Discuss emerging evidence and evolving approaches to ASCVD management
